Corti-B Plex™: A B-Vitamin + Bioflavonoid Formula for Adrenal Hormone & Energy Support

When I’m putting together a “stress-support” routine, I like to start with nutrients that the body actually uses to keep everyday systems running—especially B vitamins. That’s where Corti-B Plex™ comes in. It’s formulated to support physiological functions associated with adrenal hormone production, while also focusing on energy production and antioxidant protection.*

This formula combines targeted B vitamins (especially pantothenic acid and vitamin B6) with bioflavonoids, acetyl-L-carnitine, and a small amount of black pepper extract for a comprehensive approach.

What Corti-B Plex™ is designed to do

Corti-B Plex™ supplies significant amounts of key water-soluble B vitamins—particularly pantothenic acid and vitamin B6—to support many physiological functions tied to adrenal hormone production.*

It’s also intended to:

  • Support coenzyme A (CoA) production *

  • Support the body’s energy production *

  • Provide antioxidant protection through a broad spectrum of bioflavonoids *

Why pantothenic acid and B6 matter for adrenal support

Pantothenic acid (vitamin B5) is closely linked to CoA production, which plays a central role in energy metabolism. This is one reason B5 is so often included in formulas designed around energy and adrenal support.*

Vitamin B6 is included here in a form that supports broad metabolic needs, including processes involved in stress and hormone-related pathways.*

Folate in its biologically active form (5-MTHF)

This formula uses 5-MTHF folate (Quatrefolic®), described as a biologically active form of folate that allows rapid uptake into the bloodstream.* You may also see 5-MTHF referred to as the “L” form because it’s the reduced form of folate.

What the “supporting” ingredients add

Acetyl-L-Carnitine

Corti-B Plex™ includes L-carnitine in the highly bioactive form acetyl-L-carnitine, noted for supporting the activation of pantothenic acid kinase—an important enzyme involved in converting pantothenic acid into coenzyme A.*

Citrus bioflavonoids

A full spectrum of bioflavonoids is included for antioxidant protection.*

Black pepper extract

In small amounts, black pepper extract is often used in formulas to support ingredient utilization.

Corti-B Plex™ supplies significant amounts of the water-soluble B vitamins, pantothenic acid and vitamin B₆, to support many physiological functions associated with adrenal hormone production.* This formula also works to enhance coenzyme A production and the body’s production of energy.* The 5-MTHF in this formula – Quatrefolic® – is the most biologically active form of folate, allowing rapid uptake into the bloodstream.* The 5-MTHF in this formula is also known as the "L" form of 5-MTHF since it is the reduced form of folate.

A full spectrum of bioflavonoids have been added for antioxidant protection, and the addition of L-carnitine in the highly bioactive form, acetyl L-carnitine, greatly enhances the activation of the pantothenic acid kinase – the first, and most important, enzyme involved in the metabolic conversion of pantothenic acid to coenzyme A.*
